Not much has changed. You recieve a call from HR - Gary great guy has a big sense of humor. He will call you ask you a few questions about your self nothing really technical. If he thinks you are what they are looking for he will tell you what day to show up for class.
Class is pretty strait foward I HIGHLY HIGHLY advise looking at http://www.austincollins.com
That is the guy you will do training with and the entire ground school is available online. Print out all the PDF files and put it in a binder he will expect that you will have already done this a month before class. Anyways he's a great guy and he knows his stuff and expects you to as well. You will take a test everday on the material covered Take notes you can use them on some of the tests. Then you have a Final exam this determines your seniority. You will spend 2 days flight training. Then you are sent to your base and you start flying the line. When I went into training they kinda knew which bases would need pilots so they let us pick before class started. Over all its a great place to work and their minimum pay is higher than most Regional Airlines.
