I arrived at 8:05 for the 8:30 interview and was one of the last to show. Most were there 30-60 minutes early. Christine (Chris) was there to welcome you and collect your required documents and fee (cash or money order). She was warm and professional. The Mesa building is kind of tough to find, so I would recommend allowing an extra few minutes. All the males were in suits.
The previous gauges were very accurate on the itinerary of the interview. We got an initial brief, and Christine Bender made it clear that you needed an 80% to pass. She told us that we will probably get the 1900 and ground school is in 5 days. I think one might have failed. Know every question in the ATP written without a chart to be safe, but we did not have a single domestic/supplemental/flag carrier question.
After the test, Chris gave us the Mesa basics (equipment, bases, current upgrade times, company news) then we talked for about 30 minutes with the four pilots (all captains) who would be doing the interviews. It is very relaxed and you are encouraged to ask questions. We then were sent out to wait for our turn to interview. Interviews were done 1-1 with Chris Bender bouncing around and sitting it.
I interviewed with a CRJ Capt. He was friendly, and casual. He told me that they were now standardizing interviews so some people didn't get drilled while others got off easy.
